This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information in connection with  the Protect What We Love website www.protectwhatwelove.org, to all associated subdomains, including the website www.coastalcleanupdata.org, online services and mobile applications, and to those sites listed in the paragraph below labeled “Additional Websites Subject to the Privacy Policy” (collectively, the “Sites”). By visiting and accessing any of the Sites, you are providing consent to Protect What We Love's practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any of the terms herein, please immediately discontinue use of the Sites.

Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to the non-profit website, and Protect What We Love and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Protect What We Love include protectwhatwelove.org. The Protect What We Love application is a non-profit application. By using the Protect What We Love application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

 

Collection of your Personal Information

Protect What We Love does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application.

 

Disconnecting your Protect What We Love Account from Third Party Websites

You will be able to connect your Protect What We Love account to third party accounts. BY CONNECTING YOUR PROTECT WHAT WE LOVE ACCOUNT TO YOUR THIRD PARTY ACCOUNT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE CONTINUOUS RELEASE OF INFORMATION ABOUT YOU TO OTHERS (IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS ON THOSE THIRD PARTY SITES). IF YOU DO NOT WANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU, INCLUDING PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, TO BE SHARED IN THIS MANNER, DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE. You may disconnect your account from a third party account at any time. You may disconnect access to the third party PayPal site, by editing your information in your account.

 

Changes to this Statement

Protect What We Love reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our application, and/or by updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the application and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
